Rereading T. Smith's book "Autism, beyond despair", I'd to collect his useful thoughts in one place. Honestly, I wish to do this for long, and here there is a wonderful reason - a well-known book. I think each of you will find something you need for yourself.

Briefly about the author of the book: Tinus Smith, homeopath (Holland), author and founder of the CEASE (Complete Elimination of Autistic Spectrum Expression) movement. Achieved incredible results in the treatment of autism, hyperactivity disorder, attention deficit through homeopathy.

Studying more than 300 cases of autism of varying severity, he came to the conclusion that 70% of cases were triggered by vaccines, 25% by toxic medications and other substances, and 5% by other diseases. Using isotherapy in his technique, Smith showed that the "toxic trace" in the body can be erased. 1. Nutrition. Try to avoid packaged food, this prevents the accumulation of heavy metals, pesticides, GMOs, dyes and other harmful products in your body.

2. Give your child bread without yeast, like Sourdough (Sordo). Phytic acid (contained in cereals, nuts) blocks the absorption and assimilation of minerals that come with food, leaching existing minerals from the body: calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, etc.

3. Water. Be sure to give your child enough clean water, without copper and other toxins.

4. Avoid using microwaves, also avoid plastic containers as much as possible.

5. Try to avoid sugar, sweets and artificial sweeteners. It is poison for the stomach and pancreas. Sugar also hinders the absorption of EPA, DHA - omega-3 fatty acids, which are very important for brain development, especially at an early age.

6. Reduce the number of irritants around. Computers, TVs, electronic alarm clock - all this contributes to the deterioration of emotional/mental/physical complaints. Make sure your child is "grounded" (daily walks on the ground, ideally barefoot, are very important). Synthetic shoes, floors, clothes - try to avoid all this.

7. Remove any electrical appliances from the bedroom, such as: electronic alarm clock, TV, computer, audio devices. Turn off Wi-Fi at night.

8. Ensure healthy sleep for the baby. A healthy bed should not contain metal elements. If possible, place the child facing north or east. A dark room is very important for the production of melatonin (sleep hormone).

9. Avoid antibiotics - they destroy the intestinal flora and provoke the development of chronic diseases. Whenever possible, try to use natural medications for infections.

10. Give your child healthy omega-3 fats. The norm is 500mg per day. Omega-3 supports the body in inflammatory processes. (Anti-inflammatory). Avoid excessive consumption (from soy and corn) of omega-6 fats (omega-6 is in a lot of convenience foods, packaged foods). The ideal ratio of Omega 3 and Omega 6 fats in the body is 1:1, but today the ratio is 1:25. Omega-6 with today's nutrition in children comes from food, omega-6 supports inflammatory processes in the body.

Omega-3 for children is very importance, with its help there is a full development of the central nervous system. The deficiency of this acid can lead to visual impairment and brain development. The lack of Omega-3 forms a predisposition to asocial behaviour in a child. Special studies have been conducted, according to which, teenagers who regularly eat a lot of fish of fatty varieties are much less likely to become hooligans and violators. The additional use of Omega-3 by adolescents with aggressive behaviour lead them to the normal one in a short time.

11. Give the children 2 different types of Vitamin C (ideally sodium ascorbate (water-soluble) or ascorbic acid and fat-soluble C / Ester C). The general rule is 1000mg per day for each year of life (after 6 years, 6g per day is the maximum), i.e. if the child is 4 years old, then 4000mg should be divided into 3 doses per day. This, in turn, is divided between water and fat-soluble C. Continuing the example, for a 4-year-old child, 1000mg of ascorbic acid 3 times per day and 3 times per day for 200mg Ester C are needed. In total, this is 3600mg of vitamin C per day. The symptom that your body no longer needs vitamin C is diarrhea. Meaning that if you have reached this point, the dose can be reduced.

12. Give children Zinc, up to 4 years of age 10mg, from 4-8 years of age 20mg, older than that - 30 mg. Zinc is responsible for the breakdown of gluten (flour products) and casein (dairy products).products). Therefore, allergies and any skin problems are always a lack of zinc in the body. Lack of zinc leads to problems in behavior, depression, anxiety, PMS, panic attacks.

Parents of children with problematic behavior, hyperactivity, dyslexia, attention deficit disorder, autism have already achieved significant improvements simply by following the advice of T. Smith.
